forKids is a programme designed for children, aged 6-11, which provides an insight into computers and computer applications. It has been developed by ECDL Hellas (Futurekids) in Greece and endorsed by ECDL Foundation, the certifying authority of the leading international computer skills certification programme – ECDL.
The forKids programme, exclusively offered by Authorised Examination Centres, combines training and evaluation, both of which adhere to ECDL Foundation's strict quality assurance standards.
Upon registration, students are provided with a 'Bag forKids' which contains a 'Passport forKids' that logs their progress, and a 'Boarding Card', which logs their evaluation. A student with a successful evaluation in the Gold I & II and Platinum I & II Levels also receives the 'forKids Award'.
Who is the forKids Programme For?
The forKids Programme is suitable for children who attend primary school, regardless of their knowledge level in using computers, and consists of 6 training courses per year.
