ECDL National Operator in Croatia Celebrates 40th Anniversary

The Croatian Information Technology Association (CITA) celebrated its 40th anniversary with a roundtable conference titled, “ICT – an important basis for the future development of Croatia”. Representatives of the ICT sector, ICT education, and European IT associations attended the event, which was opened with a speech by Ronald Bieber, Secretary-General of the Austrian Computer Society, OCG. Jakub Christoph attended the event on behalf of ECDL Foundation.

Following a series of presentations on the Croatian ICT sector, CITA presented awards to organisations and individuals who have made a special contribution to the Association’s activities. This included special recognition awards to ECDL Foundation and the Council of European Professional Informatics Societies.
