As part of its recent visit to Nigeria, ICDL Africa held workshops for existing Accredited Test Centres (ATCs) in Abuja and Lagos. This was a great opportunity for the team to meet with ATC staff. ATCs represented a variety of sectors including commercial training organisations and education institutions.
ICDL Africa General Manager, Séamus McGinley, updated attendees on recent developments at ICDL Foundation and ICDL Africa. Partner Relations Manager, Marie-Claire Walsh, gave a presentation on programme operations. Faith Osazemwinde and Prince Suileman (representing our Accreditation Consultant, E-Tech) coordinated discussions around audit, marketing and business development. E-Tech Chairman, Abdulkareem Uthman Mustapha outlined the strategy for growth in Nigeria, where all ATCs must work together to help in the growth of the ICDL brand.
As the largest economy in Africa, digital skills must be at the heart of the Nigerian economy and ICDL Africa, its local Accreditation Consultant and network of ATCs are ready to collaborate to make this happen.
