European Parliament Adopts Resolution on Big Data

Lack of knowledge about big data allows personal data to be misused according to a new resolution of the European Parliament on the fundamental rights implications of big data. The resolution, adopted on March 14, also calls for EU Member States to invest further in raising levels of digital literacy, and improving knowledge of digital rights and privacy issues among people in Europe, especially children.
