A three-day ‘Train the Trainer’ (TTT) programme in Kenya took place in early April, providing ICDL trainers from various Kenyan Accredited Test Centres (ATC) the opportunity to update their skills and learn about new ICDL modules.

The programme, which took place at an ATC in Nairobi, and featured a presentation on the new ICT in Education module, which will be used by trainers to learn how to make the best use of ICT in delivering their lessons and engaging learners.

Etinick Mutinda, General Manager of ICDL Africa, was also present, and encouraged participants to invite their colleagues to the next Train the Trainer event in September this year. He also noted the importance of ICDL, saying, “ICDL has been changing lives over the past 20 years and it is our goal to ensure that it is more impactful by organising for these kinds of training to sharpen the skills of our trainers.”

More information about the programme can be found on the website of ICDL Africa.
