OCG Celebrates 20th Birthday of ECDL in Austria

OCG, the Austrian Computer Society, celebrated 20 years of ECDL in Austria with an event in Vienna attended by the Austrian Federal Minister for Education, Sonja Hammerschmid, the Rector of TU Wien, Sabine Seidler, OCG President Markus Klemen, and ECDL Foundation CEO, Damien O’Sullivan.

The event took place on April 4 at TU Wien, and acknowledged the role of OCG in delivering leading digital literacy certification to thousands of Austrians. During the event, the 500,000th ECDL certificate in Austria was presented to Jennifer Oberegger, an apprentice at Infineon Austria.
