ICDL Foundation participated in the recent ISTE conference in Texas, USA. ISTE (International Society for Technology in Education) is the leading voice on technology in education and this annual conference and expo brings together over 20,000 educators from across the US and beyond to discuss the latest trends.

ICDL recently achieved the ISTE Seal of Alignment, which shows that ICDL has been independently reviewed by ISTE, and was found to be aligned with the ISTE Standards for Readiness. The ICDL programme met the standard across all 28 areas of ISTE evaluation.

The conference was the first opportunity to showcase the Seal of Alignment and discuss with teachers, school management and other stakeholders about implementing the programme in their schools. It also presented an opportunity to complete further research on perceptions of digital skills levels among students and teachers. ICDL Foundation had a booth in the expo hall (along with over 1,000 other vendors) and met with delegates from across the US, but also from other markets, such as Peru, India and Singapore.

More information on the Seal of Alignment can be found on our website.
