New ICDL Test Centres Accredited in China

Two new ICDL Accredited Test Centres in China received their certificates from ICDL Foundation CEO, Damien O’Sullivan, at an event during ICDL Digital Literacy Day in Singapore recently.

They accreditation of the two centres, China-Jiangsu International and ZBG Rising Star, sets the foundational commitment in ICDL Asia’s efforts to deliver our programmes in China. Mr O’Sullivan and Ms Tina Wu, General Manager of ICDL Asia also commented that ICDL will do its utmost and best to complement the needs for ICT Literacy in China’s education market. ICDL Asia is also working on a syllabus and content to help students and teachers upgrade their ICT skills efficiently, which is in line with China’s employment strategy.

During the event, founder of ZBG Rising Star, Mr Sun Jieying also commented that, “through the collaboration with ICDL, ZBG Rising Star hopes to help accounting, finance, ACCA and CIMA students to upgrade their skills and ability in ICT”.

Mr Tu Xiaogang, Assistant General Manager of China-Jiangsu International pointed out that, “the collaboration between China-Jiangsu International and ICDL is a win-win; it not only helps the tertiary students increase their employability skills, it provides a platform for students and companies to share resources and develop the skills of the organisation’s manpower collectively during internship and/or employment opportunities.”
