ICDL and the Rwandan Ministry of ICT have renewed their agreement to certify the digital skills of thousands of civil servants and members of the public. The new Memorandum of Understanding was signed in early February.

The project has helped to raise awareness of ICDL Africa in Rwanda, with a number of other agreements signed as a result. Under the new agreement, which comes shortly after the government’s approval of a National Digital Talent Policy, there is a goal for 55,000 people to be certified by 2020.
