ICDL Africa has started a refresher ‘Train the Trainer’ course for trainers at the Rwanda Management Institute (RMI), one of a number of promising Accredited Test Centres in the country.

As part of a project to equip civil servants across the country with digital skills, 150 trainers at the RMI will receive a 3-day refresher ‘Train the Trainer’ session. They will then go on to train civil servants in 30 districts across Rwanda.

The initiative comes in the context of Rwanda’s National Digital Talent Policy, which has a goal for the digital skills of 55,000 people to be certified by 2020.
