ICDL Asia, ACCA and Kaplan Sign Agreement to Certify ICT Skills of Accounting and Finance Professionals
ICDL Asia, ACCA and Kaplan Learning Institute signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) to provide a series of globally-accredited ICDL ICT certification programmes to fulfil the digital competencies of accounting and finance professionals.
The MoU signing ceremony was graced by the Guest-of-Honour, Minister John Paul Phelan, Irish Minister of State at the Department of Housing, Planning and Local Government with Special Responsibility for Local Government and Electoral Reform, His Excellency, Ambassador Geoffrey Keating, Irish Ambassador to Singapore and Ms Smruti Inamdar, ASEAN Director of Enterprise Ireland.
The internationally recognised ACCA-ICDL certified ICT programmes will see a technical syllabus as the core of the courses, which are made relevant for professionals in accountancy and finance. This project will kick-off from Singapore, and be introduced to other ACCA territories in Asia later.
