A new campaign, titled, ‘Apprentices: Let’s go digital’ has been launched by OCG, the ECDL National Operator in Austria. The campaign aims to promote the importance of digital skills for young apprentices, and encourage certification using ECDL.

In Austria, there are currently over 100,000 apprentices. OCG’s President, Wilfried Seyruck said, “It is precisely these young people that we need to promote to in a targeted manner. Austria needs well-trained skilled workers who are digitally fit.” Continuing, he emphasised that, both in schools and apprenticeships, “the ECDL programme is simply ideal to teach young people digital literacy.”

More information about the campaign can be found in OCG’s press release (in German).
