Tunku Abdul Rahman University College (‘TAR UC’) has officially become an ICDL Accredited Test Centre. Seeing the need to increase digital literacy standards for its students, TAR UC is dedicating two computer labs at the CPE Department of each campus for ICDL testing. TAR UC have their main campus in Kuala Lumpur, with five other branches in Penang, Perak, Johor, Pahang and Sabah respectively. It is well recognised locally and internationally among the academic fraternity and professional bodies.
TAR UC is a premier institution of higher learning in Malaysia set up in 1969 to provide quality and affordable tertiary education. It was set up to complement and supplement the efforts of the Malaysian Government to meet the current and future manpower needs of the nation.
TAR UC is also an ACCA approved learning provider (Platinum) in Malaysia. Having five selected ICDL modules embedded into their Accounting & Finance degree program allows Accounting Professionals to acquire the essential digital skills, especially for those who wish to attain the ACCA Qualification in the country.
TAR UC have selected the Online Collaboration, Project Planning, IT Security, Advanced Spreadsheet and Advanced Presentation modules for their 4-year Accounting & Finance degree program. Such refinement to the program creates a sustainable model for students to achievedigital proficiency through ICDL Certification.
