IMT Hyderabad, a top business school in India recently, concluded the ICDL Advanced Spreadsheets certification for all 212 of its first year MBA students. ICDL was a mandatory part of the orientation week at IMT Hyderabad. The feedback from the students and faculty coordinators has been very positive, with a special note for the interactive e-learning.

According to Professor Sridhar, Area Chairperson for IT & Analytics at IMT Hyderabad, “ICDL is a good move by the institute since Microsoft Excel is an extremely crucial tool in any business school programme and the structured nature of the ICDL certification programme made it easy to learn.”

Professor Ramana, Director of IMT Hyderabad, remarked, “The good work that ICDL is doing in making students digitally efficient can be made more meaningful if all other courses adopt such programmes.”

In the second phase, the institute has already started a Faculty Development Programme on ICDL Advanced Spreadsheets with 23 staff members who are undergoing the programme currently.
