A 3-day workshop on the dissemination of ICT in education was co-organised by ICDL Lebanon and Phoenix Center in mid-September. Participants from the country’s Ministry of Education were present, along with people from the Lebanese cultural, political, social and security sectors, as well as various representatives of educational institutions.

During the workshop, 120 IT instructors from different schools spread across South Lebanon were trained for two days using the ICDL Word Processing module. On the third day, 54 instructors took certification tests and 37 passed the test.
